40 Thinkpads purchased for Apache Junction teachers

Forty computer laptops can be purchased for Apache Junction Unified School District’s teachers, the Governing Board decided recently.

The board voted unanimously Sept. 14 to approve paying Wichita, Kansas-based Twotrees Technology Inc. $59,659.20 for Lenovo Thinkpads to replace staff devices.

The price includes $3,520 for accidental-damage protection, $3,120 for an extended service agreement and $4,419.20 for taxes, a quote from Twotrees Technology Inc. of Wichita, Kansas, states.
