Mayor, three others take 4-year oaths

Four members of the Surprise City Council were officially sworn into their seats at the Jan. 5 council meeting.

Mayor Skip Hall, Councilmen Patrick Duffy and Ken Remley and Councilwoman Alyson Cline took their oaths at a meeting without in-person attendance because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Hall, Mr. Duffy (in District 3), Mr. Remley (in District 4) and Ms. Cline (in District 2) were all sworn in for four year-terms after winning election in the August primary.
