4 projects earn Surprise grant money

City Council OKs $10,000 to help neighborhoods

Four Surprise community projects were awarded money from the Surprise Neighborhood Grant Program earlier this month.

The Surprise City Council on Nov. 6 agreed to $10,000 in funding for the projects, which must be completed by next June 15.

Community events at Homestead at Marley Park was awarded $3,000, while the Arizona Traditions Butterfly Garden earned $2,750
