4 large industrial buildings planned at Power, Elliot in Mesa

A 456,889-square-foot industrial development is to be constructed east of Power Road on the north side of Elliot Road in Mesa.

The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on Nov. 17 voted unanimously in a consent agenda to recommend the city council approve a site plan review and rezoning 26.3 acres from single residence to light industrial with a planned-area development overlay. Board member Benjamin Ayers was absent from the meeting.

Four large-scale industrial buildings are planned west of the Roosevelt Water Conservation District canal, Planner Cassidy Welch said during a study session prior to the meeting.
