A head-on crash between a utility terrain vehicle and pickup truck Sunday near Lake Pleasant critically injured four people and sent a total of seven individuals to hospitals, police said.
The collision occurred about 1:45 p.m. May 3 near French Spring Road, approximately a mile east of Castle Hot Springs in Yavapai County, police said.
Preliminary information indicates the UTV was traveling north while the pickup truck was headed south. Investigators said they believe reduced visibility due to dust in the area may have been a contributing factor, according to a Peoria Police Department release.
