Four suspects are in custody after attempting an armed robbery at a Glendale jewelry store.
Glendale police were alerted just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, that a robbery was taking place inside Jared, located at Arrowhead Towne Center, 7520 W. Bell Road, on the mall’s outer retail area.
Officers set up a perimeter while the four male suspects were still inside, as were store employees and customers. Early reports say one of the suspects allegedly displayed a handgun while inside the store and was preventing store employees and customers from leaving by threats of force.
