$36M project to bring road updates, flood mitigation to 67th Avenue

City expected to pay nearly $12M

Peoria Councilman Jon Edwards has seen the flooding some of his constituents have experienced around 67th Avenue between Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads.

A gateway to the northern part of the city, this corridor soon will experience vital upgrades to improve traffic flow and flood mitigation.

Edwards said a number of improvements to this area have already been made and more upgrades are planned to bring it all together.
