A business will be paid $30,112.33 a month to clean Desert Vista, Four Peaks and Peralta Trail elementary schools in the Apache Junction Unified School District for the first six months of 2022.
The Governing Board on Dec. 14 voted unanimously to approve a service agreement with ABM Industry Groups LLC for the work Jan. 1-June 30, 2022.
“Now the funding source for this is ESSER III, so it’s not really about the money. It’s about approving the cleaning company,” Governing Board President Dena Kimble said prior to the vote.
