30 games on 2024 Surprise spring slate

City to play host to every team in Cactus League

Pennant races are just heating up in the 2023 Major League Baseball season, but that hasn’t stopped the league from announcing its spring training slate for next year.

Surprise will play host to 30 games next spring, split between the two “home” teams, the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals.

Opening day is set for Friday, Feb. 23 with the Rangers and Royals facing off. The two teams will also play each other in the second game a day later.
