A site plan review for the development of a self-storage business on 2.3 acres south of Elliot Road on the east side of Power Road should be approved by the Mesa City Council, an advisory board decided recently.
The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on June 23 voted to recommend the council approve it as part of a consent agenda with other items, with Dane Astle and Shelly Allen absent. The City Council will make the final decision at a future meeting.
“The request is a site plan review to allow for the development of a self-storage facility within an industrial park. This is just one site of the industrial park,” Mesa Planner Wahid Alam said in a study session prior to the meeting.
