INDICTED

3 charged with murder in deadly Phoenix armed robbery

Three men have been indicted in connection with a deadly shooting last year in north Phoenix.

Raul Acevedo-Clavel, 19, Demarius Shaw, 18, and David Brunt, 18, have been charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

In October 2025, Phoenix police officers responded to a report of shots fired in a wash and park area near 12th Street and Bell Road. A 17-year-old male was found with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.
