Mediacom Communications recently recognized three Apache Junction residents who achieved the company’s top performance rankings and earned national and regional awards for outstanding customer and broadband services.

An award ceremony was held in November with corporate executives where the award winners were recognized for their high performance in 2023, according to a release.

Jessica Baumgartner earned the highest marks in service performance over the past year, resulting in a gold-level award for excellent customer service in 2023. The Apache Junction resident has been employed by Mediacom for two years.

Nicolas Schoenian has been a Mediacom employee for one year and received the gold-level “People’s Choice Award” at the recent ceremony. Baumgartner and Schoenian were two of 40 employees nationwide to earn a gold-level award for exemplary service in 2023.

Danny Thorne received the system-level “People’s Choice Award” in the technical operations category at the ceremony with corporate leaders. He was one of 40 employees nationwide to receive a system-level award. Thorne is a broadband specialist and has been employed by Mediacom for three years.

Companywide, Mediacom employs 4,000 people and the award recipients were among 195 employees recognized for performance achievements over the past year. Award recipients receive a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
