3 additions planned for Park West area in Peoria

Councils approve apartments, mixed use

The Park West area stands to become more robust with plans for three new projects at Northern Avenue.

The Peoria City Council approved two zoning projects Nov. 9 near the Park West shopping center — a new multifamily project and a gas station with a possible future commercial element.

Additionally, the Glendale City Council Nov. 9 approved an $85 million project on 24 vacant acres at the southeast corner of 99th and Northern avenues.
