A total of 288 commercial building permits were issued July 23-Sept. 30 in Mesa.

A sampling from the city’s website (by address, date issued, description, value, type of work and contractor or applicant) are:

• 5901 E. Thomas Road; July 26; new 6,288-square-foot field house for American Leadership Academy, including a concession stand with a kitchen, weight room and two locker rooms; $1,192,708; commercial/industrial projects; Way Construction & Development/Carhuff + Cueva Architects LLC.
