SRP is investigating the cause of an electricity outage affecting 2,543 customers in east Mesa.
The outage, which started at 5:47 p.m. Jan. 11, is in an area from North Higley Road to North 76th Street and East McLellan Road to East Broadway Road, according to SRP.
SRP initially estimated restoration by 7:50 p.m., then 8:50 p.m. and then 9:50 p.m.
For at least one resident on the far northwest of the area, lights flickered and a convection oven shut off briefly — long enough for the clock to zero out — but power has otherwise remained on so far.
