250-acre industrial and tech park planned in Laveen

Developer does not have tenants yet

A developer plans to turn a 250-acre property in Laveen into an industrial and tech park.

There are no tenants for the property yet, and a range of uses are allowed under the planned-unit development the developer is requesting of the city of Phoenix.

Both the developer, Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties, and Phoenix’s Community and Economic Development staff say a zoning and general plan change to allow for uses prospective companies want is the first step toward luring tenants to the property on either side of Dobbins Road just west of Loop 202.
