Every team can hardly wait for kickoff Friday night, but Peoria High is more eager than most.

The Panthers’ 2025 season was a mixed bag full of memorable moments and difficult losses. Peoria started 1-3, then won its last six games to claim the program’s second straight region title.

All that momentum came to a screeching halt in the 4A home playoff opener against Paradise Honors, losing 31-21 to a team they beat 29-7 four weeks before that.
