Ironwood coach Tony Stillings did not have to say much to his current seniors in January, when they gathered for the first time after a 1-9 season in 2025.

We had some things off the field last year that affected us — that I’m not going to get into,” Stillings said. “They felt like they got cheated out of a chance for a good year through certain circumstances. They came in with that chip and I liked to see it.”
