2026 Preps football preview: ALA-Vistancia

Senior two-way lineman Aiden Renda completes a highly unique journey when he lines up for the first varsity home game in ALA-Vistancia football history.

Renda started on the Glendale Prep varsity as a sophomore in 2024. He and his father Jon, a defensive coordinator, left for the new school in north Peoria last summer, which meant playing for and coaching a junior varsity team in 2025.

Now Renda is the veteran leader of the Defenders. No wonder he has trouble waiting for Aug. 21.
