Mountain Ridge players were more than content with a paint by numbers offseason.
It was a first for every student athlete in the program. The last two years, returning Mountain Lions players did not know who their head coach would be until after spring ball and the school year ended.
Now senior quarterback Lukas Baughman entered the summer on the same page with receivers more often and is confident with the deeper reaches of the playbook. Senior center Wyatt Tollefson can introduce more o-line calls and double calls to the front wall.
