West Valley area, north Phoenix, Tempe top eviction filings: Maricopa County courts

2025 numbers taper off from previous years

North Phoenix and the Glendale/Avondale area join Tempe among Valley areas with the most eviction filings on average, the Maricopa County Justice Courts spokesman said.

Scott Davis says the reason is the concentration of apartments in those areas, he said. They average about 413 eviction filings each month.

In July, there were 7,250 eviction filings submitted to the Maricopa County Justice Courts.
