Much of the Valley got a bit of wet weather over the weekend as scattered showers hit areas from Queen Creek to Deer Valley, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
But a little more wet stuff over a short span won’t make a dent in the Valley’s drought problems.
Over the weekend, 0.37 inches of rain fell at Sky Harbor International Airport while West Valley cities such as Glendale got 0.29 inches of rain. Sun City saw 0.25 inches of rain over this past weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
