WEST VALLEY PREPS

2022 Preps football preview: ALA-West Foothills

There is no road map for what American Leadership Academy-West Foothills football is attempting this season, at least in Arizona.

The charter school in Waddell just south of Surprise is starting a program with a varsity and junior varsity, but no freshman team. Even fellow startup and sister school ALA-Anthem South in Florence is only tackling a junior varsity schedule.

The Guardians hired coach Tim Su’esu’e Liufau in the summer of 2021. Then the school’s opening was delayed a year.
