2022 early birds start filing Scottsdale election paperwork

It’s about 13 months out from Scottsdale’s next City Council election and two candidates have filed paperwork to begin campaigning.

City Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield filed reelection paperwork on Friday, Oct. 1, seeking a third term, while Tim Stratton filed paperwork for his campaign on Aug. 18, Scottsdale City Clerk records show.

Stratton is a former chair of the Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority.
