The Paradise Honors Panthers worked hard to get in their afternoon practice Aug. 11 as a storm rolled toward their field.
Chances are good the Panthers will be able to conquer more than weather deadlines this year.
With several transfers and a strong returning core of veterans, the Panthers’ numbers are up for second-year coach Josh Goodloe. The Panthers, who went 2-3 in the COVID-shortened 2020 season and lost their final three games, are gearing up for what they hope is a 3A Metro West Conference title and/or a deep playoff run.
