Millennium sent out a young team for the COVID-marred 2020 season, which saw two games wiped off the schedule by quarantine and two other games changed.
The 2021 team is even younger, with only a handful of seniors expected for key roles. Yet, optimism is palpable in practice thanks to a full offseason, a loaded class of 2023 thrown to the varsity wolves last year and one key senior transfer.
Coach Lamar Early started naming the juniors expected to be contributors this year and quickly reached double digits.
