$200K power ball ticket sold in Scottsdale
Posted
A player in Scottsdale turned a $50,000 win in Monday night’s Powerball draw into a $200,000 win by adding power play to the ticket.
Power play costs $1 more per game but multiplies winnings by two, three, four, five or 10 times. To play, mark the power play box or ask the cashier for the power play option when purchasing a ticket. The Power Play number is randomly selected just before each drawing. It applies to all prizes except the jackpot.
The $200,000 winning ticke was sold at Frys Food Store, 4842 E Bell Road. It matched four out of five numbers with the powerball. The winning numbers were 9, 38, 48, 52, 68 and the powerball was 25.
