A man died after being struck June 26 by two vehicles as he was crossing midblock on Camelback Road, Phoenix police said.
The man, who has not been identified, died at a hospital after being hit about 9:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Camelback Road, police said.
Detectives took over the investigation and said preliminary information suggests the victim was crossing Camelback Road in the middle of the block when he was struck by both the vehicles, which were traveling west on Camelback.

A man died after being struck June 26 by two vehicles as he was crossing midblock on Camelback Road, Phoenix police said.
The man, who has not been identified, died at a hospital after being hit about 9:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Camelback Road, police said.
Detectives took over the investigation and said preliminary information suggests the victim was crossing Camelback Road in the middle of the block when he was struck by both the vehicles, which were traveling west on Camelback.
The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene, and impairment is not believed to be a factor, police said.
