2 teens charged under Preston's Law as suspects in West Valley assault

(Surprise Police Department)

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an assault that occurred April 4 at an unsupervised gathering near North Sarival Avenue and West Greenway Road, Surprise police said Monday.

A teen was assaulted by multiple people at the event, which was “shared on social media, drawing a crowd that included many individuals unknown to the host,” an earlier Surprise Police Department release stated.

The names of the suspects have not been released due to their ages, police said.
