2 restaurants announced for much awaited The Trailhead project in north Peoria

The Pederson Group held a groundbreaking for The Trailhead March 6.

Developer Pederson Group announced two tenants that will have space at the long awaited 903,000-square-foot The Trailhead mixed-use project in north Peoria at 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road.

Leases have been signed for two full-service restaurants – Tacos & Craft, with scratch-made tacos and craft beer, and Sparrow, from the creators of Squid Ink, an American-themed restaurant with specialty menu items.

Officials said more tenant announcements will be made in the coming months.
