Five women inviting two men they met at a Phoenix bar back to their Scottsdale Airbnb resulted in one of the men shooting one of the women in an attempted armed robbery later that night.
The woman sustained serious injuries from being shot three times but survived.
Aron Dwight Melvin, 24, of San Tan Valley and Sincere Lyylaplace Hooks-Lilly, 23, of Gilbert were both charged for the incident. Melvin is the alleged shooter and claims Hooks-Lilly directed him to do it with a gun belonging to Hooks-Lilly.
