2 die in wrong-way crash Sunday morning in Phoenix
Two people died early Sunday in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 3:20 a.m. May 7 on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 7th Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS officials said the department received a call at approximately 3:22 a.m. about a vehicle traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, and the crash occurred a short time later.

The crash occurred about 3:20 a.m. May 7 on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 7th Avenue, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS officials said the department received a call at approximately 3:22 a.m. about a vehicle traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, and the crash occurred a short time later.
The roadway was closed Sunday morning until about 10:30 for an investigation, according to DPS.
