Two of the 16 adults and one of the 15 students who have tested positive for COVID-19 at Apache Junction Unified School District are hospitalized, a district official said.
“(W)ithin the district, we have two adults that were tested positive that have recovered and are back at work, we have two adults that tested positive and are currently hospitalized, we have two adults that were hospitalized and have now been moved to rehabilitation centers,” AJUSD Executive Director of Educational Services Heather Wallace said at the Nov. 23 meeting of the AJUSD Governing Board.
Three adults who tested positive are at the end of their 14-day COVID-19 quarantine and there are eight adults beginning their 14-day quarantine, she said.
