Scholz Contracting LLC has been awarded a more than $1.1 million contract to construct the city of Apache Junction’s first dog park.
The 2.6-acre off-leash dog park will be at the northwest corner of the Pinal County complex at 575 N. Idaho Road. The contract includes installation of grading, staking, concrete work, masonry, fencing/gates, electrical, solar lighting, irrigation system, landscaping, signs, pavilion structure and other related work, according to a request for bids.
The term of the agreement between the city and the business is Aug. 1, 2021-Jan. 31, 2022.
