Fun Box Bounce House — a traveling bounce park attraction — can exceed the maximum number of days allowed for a special event at a parking lot at Superstition Springs Mall, the Mesa Board of Adjustment decided recently.
The board on Jan. 4 voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to approve a special use permit at 6421 E. Southern Ave. in the limited commercial zone in a bonus intensity zone overlay district.
The permit would allow the attraction to set up in the parking lot for a total of 180 days, Staff Planner Victoria Chavez said at a study session prior to the meeting.
