18-year-old dies, 2 others injured in West Valley shooting

An 18-year-old man died Thursday night and two others were injured in a shooting that occurred near Butler Drive, halfway between Olive and Northern avenues, in Glendale, police said.

Early indications showed the shooting, which killed Dilan Allende, may be the result of an attempted robbery, but that has not been confirmed by police.

No information about a suspect has been released.

An 18-year-old man died Thursday night and two others were injured in a shooting that occurred near Butler Drive, halfway between Olive and Northern avenues, in Glendale, police said.

Early indications showed the shooting, which killed Dilan Allende, may be the result of an attempted robbery, but that has not been confirmed by police.

No information about a suspect has been released.
