17,000 bedrolls made for homeless ministry in Mesa

An all-volunteer ministry at First United Methodist Church in Mesa recently reached a milestone more than 30 years in the making.

The Ugly Quilt group has completed 17,000 handmade bedrolls that were donated to organizations such as the Salvation Army to be distributed to people experiencing homelessness.
