101-acre annexation before Mesa council Wednesday

Land slated to become large industrial park

Annexing more than 101 acres west of Sossaman Road and north of the Warner Road alignment will be voted on at Wednesday’s Mesa City Council meeting.

The council on Dec. 1 in a consent agenda with other items approved the introduction of an ordinance and set Dec. 8 as the date of a public hearing. The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in the council chambers, 57 E. First St.

The annexation was initiated by applicant Sean Lake of law firm Pew & Lake PLC for the owner, the Dale C. Morrison Trust.
