Winner of Salad and Go auction is 7 Brew Coffee

Salad and Go customers were lined up for lobby service and in the drive-thru Aug. 5 in Glendale after the chain announced its shutdown the day prior. An auction shows the owners of 7 Brew Coffee had the winning bid to buy 73 stores, including 41 in Arizona, for about $143.18 million, according to federal bankruptcy court documents filed Sept. 1.

An Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee chain made the winning bid for 73 former Salad and Go locations in a bankruptcy auction Monday, including 41 in Arizona.

According to documents from U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Southern Texas, 7 Brew outbid Tempe-based Dutch Bros. for the 73 locations, and will pay $143.18 million.

The two Salad and Gos in Queen Creek at 1429 S. Ellsworth Road and 90 W. Ocotillo Road are not on on the list of locations purchased by 7 Brew Coffee.
