A community and business leader who has devoted himself to helping his fellow military veterans, Craig Barnes served in the Navy, Army and National Guard, but is perhaps most proud of founding the Duane Ellsworth Post 129 American Legion Post in Queen Creek.

The post was founded in 2004, and he first served as commander from 2004 to 2007 and currently holds the reins again.
