With ongoing events related to COVID-19 (coronavirus), Taco Fest at Salt River Fields, that was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4, is postponed indefinitely.
All tickets purchased automatically will be refunded to credits cards used in the original purchases, according to a press release.
This unprecedented global health challenge is said to be of “the highest priority and requires all to do their part.”
All necessary precautions are being taken in accordance with the CDC, the release noted, for the health and safety of patrons, vendors and those involved in the production of this festival.
Salt River Fields and event producer R Entertainment, “remain committed to delivering an exceptional event experience, especially for avid taco fans, at a new date to be announced in the coming months,” the release said.
Patrons and the sponsors, Estrella Jalisco and El Jimador Tequila were thanked, the release added.
