Queen Creek’s long-awaited second Target store is now open.
Located at 37854 N. Gantzel Road in the 23-acre Vineyard Towne Center, the 145,000-square-foot store opened its doors on Sunday as a large crowd stood in the parking lot ready to start shopping.
Along with being the second Target in Queen Creek, it is also the 48th in the state.
With Sprouts Farmers Market, the Target anchors the Vestar property and includes Target Optical, a CVS Pharmacy, a Disney Store, an Apple Store and an in-store Starbucks.
“This Target location has been years in the making, and we’re thrilled to officially open our doors to the public. When this project first began in 2019, we recognized the need for convenient, high- quality shopping options close to home. Queen Creek has continued to grow at a rapid pace, and as the population expands, so does the demand for retail and everyday amenities,” Taylor Alvey, vice president of leasing at Vestar, stated in a press release. “A store of this size also brings new jobs and keeps more dollars within the community, making it a win for Queen Creek and the people who live here.”
Vineyard Towne Center’s new Target is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Other retailers and restaurants located at Vineyard Towne Center include Sprouts Farmers Market, Mountain America Credit Union, Academy Bank, Verizon, Mattress Firm, Zara Nail Bar, Five Guys, Better Buzz Coffee, Thai Chili 2Go, McDonald’s, Over Easy, Café Rio, Cinnaholic and Zaxbys.
In addition to Vineyard Towne Center, Vestar owns and operates Queen Creek Marketplace and manages Queen Creek Crossing.
