Silver Valley Elementary School has been selected as a Teacher Created Materials Spotlight Award recipient for the 2025–2026 school year.

The award recognizes schools making a meaningful impact on teaching and learning every day.

Teacher Created Materials, a nearly 50-year-old California-basedducational publishing company, created the Spotlight Award to highlight schools that are truly making a difference, according to a Queen Creek Unified School District press release.

“We want to spotlight schools that aren’t just showing up every day, but are really working hard to develop spectacular lessons, spectacular students, and are really dedicated to their craft,” a representative for the company stated in the release.

During the presentation of the award, Teacher Created Materials representatives shared their enthusiasm for Silver Valley and the impression the campus has made through multiple visits.

“I’ve been out on the campus now. This is the fourth visit, and I’m blown away,” one representative stated in the release. “The energy that is on this campus is amazing, and you guys are so deserving of this award.”

Silver Valley Elementary stood out for its strong sense of purpose and collaboration.

“You believe in your students, and it shows in how much your community works together,” a presenter noted. “This recognition is a lot more about the success that isn’t just on paper. It’s about what happens every single day in your classrooms, in your hallways and in conversations.”

TCM representatives also highlighted Silver Valley’s mission to empower students as 21st-century learners while supporting both academic and social growth.
