Queen Creek police: toy can cause injuries, damage
QCPD
QCPD has had several reported incidents involving Orbeez Guns/Gel Blasters.

The Queen Creek Police Department has issued a warning about a toy that can cause injuries, damage property and pose safety concerns.
QCPD has had several reported incidents involving Orbeez Guns/Gel Blasters that expel water gel pellets/projectiles, the department stated on its Facebook page.
In 2022, QCPD issued a warning about a Tik Tok challenge involving Orbeez Guns/Gel Blasters being called the "Orbeez Challenge."
Orbeez is the name of a collection of small, colorful, water-absorbing beads that the manufacturer, Spinmaster, stated kids can use as stress balls, fidget toys and learning tools.
But the Tik Tok Orbeez Challenge involves freezing the balls and loading them into air-soft type guns and firing them at people and vehicles.
QCPD stated that shooting at people from the device could result in aggravated assault charges and displaying the device in public in a “threatening or disorderly manner” could lead to other criminal charges.
