Queen Creek police report traffic stops
Town of Queen Creek
The Queen Creek Police Department made more than 1,900 traffic stops between January and March.

One of the goals when the Queen Creek Police Department hit the streets in January 2022 was to keep drivers safe on the town’s roads.
QCPD’s traffic unit made 1,904 stops between January and March, QCPD reported on its Facebook page.
Traffic stops included:
878 civil speed citations and warnings
16 criminal speed citations
85 red light violations
6 street racing citations
38 DUI arrests
In addition, there were 387 traffic accidents. Distracted driving and speed are two of the most common factors in traffic collisions in Queen Creek, police stated.
