The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its bi-annual Women in Business Conference.
This half-day conference, set for November, will offer a morning of learning, connection and ideas featuring keynote speaker Mari Tautimes, as well as breakout sessions and vendor and networking opportunities for local businesses.
“This Women in Business Conference is focused on something every business owner and professional encounters — what to do when things get hard. (Tautimes’) keynote brings a practical perspective to those moments, giving attendees inspiration to keep going, tools to get unstuck and a clear way to think through whether it’s time to push through, pivot, or walk away,” Chris Clark, president and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce stated in a press release.
Tautimes’ keynote, “Expect Hard. Suffering is Optional,” challenges the idea that difficult seasons have to derail women in business.
“By learning to expect that challenges are part of the journey rather than constantly resisting them, we can move through difficult moments with greater perspective, grace and gratitude — and make better decisions along the way,” the release continued.
The conference is aimed at providing attendees with tools and perspective to help them navigate changes in business and life.
The conference runs from 8:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Encanterra Country Club, 36460 N. Encanterra Dr.
Tickets are $35 for chamber members and $55 for non-members. For more information or to buy tickets, visit queencreekchamber.com.
