Pinal County District 2 Supervisor Mike Goodman recently went on a helicopter tour of the Salt River Project’s facilities that provide power and water to the county.

The tour took Supervisor Goodman over the Tonto Basin; the Horseshoe, Bartlett and Roosevelt dams; the Salt River; and the SRP-Central Arizona Project interconnection facility, according to a release.

These facilities maximize water conservation for residential, commercial and agricultural needs, it states.

Supervisor Goodman also learned about plans to improve the water infrastructure to maximize the water supply.
