Panera set to open in San Tan Valley

Panera Bread is opening its first location in San Tan Valley next week.

The eatery officially opens its doors at 6 a.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at 1728 W. Hunt Highway, Suite 101.

To celebrate, Panera will host a “Bread Breaking” and ribbon-cutting ceremony and award the first 100 guests a year of free Your Pick Two meals. Baguette and prize giveaways will also take place throughout the opening day.

“This location combines a smaller footprint than traditional bakery-cafés with updated ordering kiosks and a fully digitized menu,” according to a press release.

The Panera Bread will also be offering fundraising opportunities for local organizations, including schools, sports teams and scout groups.
