New McDonald's opens in Queen Creek

Posted

The new McDonald's at Vineyard Towne Center is now open.

Franchise owner/operators Edward and Kyong Kapalczynski held a grand opening celebration on Feb. 7 at the new location, 37632 N. Gantzel Road, on the northwest corner of Gantzel and Combs roads.

Vineyard Towne Center is being developed by Vestar. It is anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market, with the second anchor store, Target, expected to open in the fall.

Attending the celebration were the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, local business owners and the Queen Creek 4-H Club.

"We've been living in Arizona for 2 1/2 years; we used to have seven stores in Montana before we relocated here in August of 2022. We're very happy with our decision to move to the desert and thrilled about the growth of McDonald's in Queen Creek and the overall growth of Queen Creek,” Edward Kapalczynski stated in a press release.

To give back to the community, the Kapalczynskis presented a  $1,000 check to the Queen Creek 4-H chapter.

The Kapalczynskis  are also offering free McDonald’s meals at their restaurant to local fire and police personnel through Saturday, Feb. 15.
