Monday is 'fast pass' recycle deadline in Queen Creek

Monday is the last day to register for a Fast Pass for this month’s QC Recycles drive-thru event.

The event starts at 7 a.m., Saturday, April 20 at the Queen Creek Field Operations Facility, 19715 S. 220th St. The event is free to town residents.

Residents are allowed to bring:

  • Appliances
  • Electronics
  • Prescription drugs (no liquids, needles or inhalers)
  • Textiles and small furniture for Goodwill
  • Tires (maximum of four with rims removed)
  • Scrap metal
  • Latex and water-based paints
  • Paper for shredding (up to five boxes)
  • Construction materials for Stardust, a nonprofit thrift shop that offers salvaged and used building materials
